Leges Advokat has provided legal support to the EBRD yet on another project

Leges Advokat is pleased to keep offering legal support to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Our team played a key role in helping EBRD extend a $6 million loan to UzCarlsberg, a prominent brewer in Uzbekistan known for its international branded products. This working capital loan aims to bridge the cash shortfall during the low season and enhance seasonal stock management.

Leges Advokat was involved in every facet of the transaction, including drafting and negotiating documents governed by Uzbek law, ensuring a timely completion of the financing.

Led by Partner Nizomiddin Shakhabutdinov, our team effectively oversaw this transaction, with contributions from Associate Sirojiddin Ramizkhujaev.

EBRD continues to provide record levels of financing to Uzbekistan and, with a new financing package of $7-8 billion on the horizon, we are excited to continue supporting EBRD with our legal expertise further.
