Uzbekistan GTL

The Leges Advokat team is currently assisting the lenders’ consortium consisting of Chinese, Korean and other financial institutions as a local counsel in arranging two and half billion US dollars financing to the project company, and we are advising the lenders on a number of Uzbek law related issues, including capital construction, contractual relations, financing and security, importation and use of equipment.

Aksa Energy

Our team have supported foreign financial institutions engaged in financing the construction of a 270 MW power plant located in Uzbekistan, a project executed under the public-private partnership. Our involvement in this undertaking encompassed a multifaceted approach, commencing with an exhaustive legal due diligence assessment of the project company and its requisite approvals. Subsequently, we provided invaluable counsel throughout the lending transactions and drafted the essential documentation necessary to establish robust security measures.

The Export-Import Bank of China

Leges Advokat have provided legal support to the Export-Import Bank of China in its instrumental role in financing the construction of a cement production line boasting an impressive daily capacity of 7,500 tonnes. Our accomplished team rendered assistance, commencing with a comprehensive legal due diligence on the project company and the indispensable governmental approvals essential for the construction and operation of this cement plant. We continued to provide essential support by helping shape the loan agreement, crafting security agreements with precision, and offering valuable advice on the conditions that needed to be met before funds could be drawn down.
