Updates in the regulation of ads
A new version of the Law “On Advertising” was adopted introducing new opportunities and limitations for potential advertisers. While the revised Law sets limitations on the advertisement of certain products, at the same time it permits the broadcast of alcohol produced in Uzbekistan. Finally, the Law provides a comprehensive list of authorized bodies, their power, and jurisdiction; clarifies the types of liabilities and fines.
