Leges Advokat advised the lenders group of companies in GTL project

Leges Advokat team is honored to have contributed to a successful launch of the "Uzbekistan GTL" project, where we provided legal support in all milestones of the project implementation and its financing by foreign banks, foreign insurance companies, and export agencies.

"Uzbekistan GTL" is a unique and unmatched project in the CIS region bespoke to the production of highly qualified and environmentally friendly fuels with the least impact on the air.

The project has been financed by the China Development Bank (CDB), Eximbank of Korea (KEXIM), Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE), Gazprombank, Roseximbank, and Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR).

"Uzbekistan-GTL" created more than 13 thousand jobs during the construction stage and will be employing around 1,000 people once launched. It will play an exponential role in the energy independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
